Yep, I'm afraid so. For all of you out there with old Linux console games that won't run in an xterm, you'll have to try something else. If you really must find a way, joy2key is a program that is similar to QJoyPad but without a graphical interface or many of the fancier features, but which doesn't have that limitation.
